Partridge Sugar House is a family-owned business with a reputation for integrity, quality craftsmanship, and excellence in producing 100% pure maple products. We are located in Ashland, NY in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of Greene County.
Our Maple Syrup production has been in the family for four generations dating back to 1898. In 1991 we acquired sole proprietorship and Partridge Sugar House was formed. The company started with a minimum amount of tree taps and a small evaporator selling the finished product to neighbors, friends and the occasional passer-by. In 1993 we acquired a larger evaporator and in 1995 a reverse osmosis machine that cut down the boiling time tremendously. We added more taps and pipeline as we could produce much more of our product.
Today we have about 2500 taps and produce 500-700 gallons of maple syrup a year. And now with the fifth generation becoming involved, we will increase taps and maple production.
